Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid: 3-4 days/week in Westwood office)
Salary: $155,000 - $190,000 per year

What you will do
- Design and implement automated preventative monitoring capabilities for credit underwriting, merchant compliance, and business processes.
- Identify systemic risk patterns from large operational datasets and translate findings into actionable remediation.
- Own the monitoring platform, including rule logic, alert thresholds, and operational dashboards.
- Lead preparation for regulatory examinations, internal audits, and governance reviews.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Credit Policy, Product, Engineering, and Legal to embed quality controls.
- Define and track KPIs and KRIs to report control effectiveness to senior leadership and the Risk Committee.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in quality control, compliance risk analytics, or operational risk monitoring within consumer lending or fintech.
- 3+ years of people management experience leading QC or risk analytics teams.
- Proficiency in Python and/or SQL for data analysis and automated monitoring.
- Working knowledge of consumer lending regulations (TILA/Reg Z, Regulation B/ECOA, UDAAP, FCRA).
- Experience interpreting and responding to state regulatory examinations and capital markets audits.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model in Los Angeles, CA.
