What you will do

• Define and implement the overall quality strategy, including automation and manual testing initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers across multiple Scrum teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product leadership to align testing priorities with business goals.
• Oversee the design and maintenance of scalable test automation frameworks and CI/CD integrations.
• Establish and monitor quality metrics and KPIs to report on testing effectiveness.
• Champion testing best practices such as shift-left testing and test-driven development.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong background in healthcare, pharmacy benefit management (PBM), or health insurance industries.
• Proven success in building and scaling test automation strategies for complex applications.
• Demonstrated experience with front-end automation tools like Playwright or Cypress and scripting in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with middleware/API testing, SQL, and Linux/Unix systems.
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools and integration of testing frameworks into deployment pipelines.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with AWS and DevOps pipelines.
• Familiarity with RDBMS, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Prior involvement in compliance, audit, or regulated environment testing.
