Salary: $145,250 - $183,750

What you will do

• Design and execute manual test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and/or Node.js.
• Contribute to comprehensive test plans covering cloud services, APIs, and hardware integrations.
• Participate in system, integration, regression, and release testing cycles.
• Investigate, document, and reproduce defects to support efficient engineering resolution.
• Collaborate with developers and QA leadership to improve test coverage and quality practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in San Diego, CA.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience in manual and automated software testing.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Node.js for test automation.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, HTTP, and MQTT.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to increase QA productivity.

Nice to have

• Experience testing or integrating IoT devices or hardware products.
• Background in fleet management, automotive, or telematics platforms.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services.
