What you will do
- Serve as the dedicated legal partner to product and business teams for high-impact initiatives.
- Advise on payments, FinTech, healthcare compliance, privacy, and data governance.
- Lead the drafting, negotiation, and management of commercial agreements and strategic partnerships.
- Own and improve contract templates, playbooks, and legal workflows for business efficiency.
- Partner with Sales and GTM teams to balance legal risk with business velocity.
- Collaborate with Legal Operations to automate repeatable work and scale legal support.
Requirements
- 6 to 11 years of combined law-firm and in-house experience, ideally in SaaS or fintech.
- JD from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in at least one US state.
- Proven track record of operating independently and owning matters end-to-end.
- Strong command of technology and commercial contracting.
- Ability to translate complex legal issues for non-lawyers and act as a business enabler.
- Comfort working with ambiguity and competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.

- Exposure to payments or fintech regulation.
- Familiarity with healthcare or wellness industry compliance.
- Privacy experience beyond contract-level data terms.
- Experience as an early or sole in-house attorney at a high-growth company.
