What you will do

• Serve as the dedicated legal partner to product and business teams for high-impact initiatives.
• Advise on payments, FinTech, healthcare compliance, privacy, and data governance.
• Lead the drafting, negotiation, and management of commercial agreements and strategic partnerships.
• Own and improve contract templates, playbooks, and legal workflows for business efficiency.
• Partner with Sales and GTM teams to balance legal risk with business velocity.
• Collaborate with Legal Operations to automate repeatable work and scale legal support.

Requirements

• 6 to 11 years of combined law-firm and in-house experience, ideally in SaaS or fintech.
• JD from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in at least one US state.
• Proven track record of operating independently and owning matters end-to-end.
• Strong command of technology and commercial contracting.
• Ability to translate complex legal issues for non-lawyers and act as a business enabler.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.

• Exposure to payments or fintech regulation.
• Familiarity with healthcare or wellness industry compliance.
• Privacy experience beyond contract-level data terms.
• Experience as an early or sole in-house attorney at a high-growth company.
