TL;DR

Sales Representative (EdTech): Managing the full sales lifecycle for small-medium business school districts with an accent on territory planning, consultative selling, and building long-term relationships with K-12 leaders. Focus on driving revenue growth, navigating complex funding landscapes, and securing agreements to expand the adoption of AI-powered learning solutions.

Location: Must be based in the US. Travel is estimated at 25%.

Compensation: $140,000 - $150,000 OTE (Base $70k-$75k + Commission $70k-$75k).

What you will do

  • Own your territory by developing business plans and tailoring sales strategies to district initiatives.
  • Manage the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation to closing agreements.
  • Conduct consultative meetings with school and district leaders to present solutions and negotiate terms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale national sales organization growth.
  • Analyze funding landscapes, demographics, and state initiatives to inform sales strategy.
  • Utilize AI tools to drive efficiency and productivity in daily sales operations.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
  • 2+ years of experience hitting or exceeding large sales quotas in the K-12 EdTech space.
  • Proven experience as a strategic territory manager with executive presence.
  • Experience with high-volume district sales and building a book of business from scratch.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to align with Eastern and Central time zones.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling K-12 EdTech in Texas.
  • Prior experience as an ELA or Social Studies teacher or instructional coach.
