TL;DR

Sales Development Representative (Edtech): Generating and qualifying leads for K-12 digital curriculum solutions with an accent on B2B prospecting and lead management. Focus on building rapport with educational institutions, managing high-volume outbound activities, and leveraging Salesforce for pipeline growth.

Location: Hybrid in Austin, TX (Work in office Tuesday through Thursday)

Salary: $18.50–$23.00 per hour

What you will do

  • Build rapport and qualify inbound/outbound leads from K-12 schools.
  • Perform a minimum of 25 outbound calls and 25 emails daily.
  • Monitor webchat and field inbound sales calls via 800 numbers.
  • Use probing questions to identify customer needs and buying cycles.
  • Research prospective schools and schedule appointments.
  • Manage business activities and lead status accurately within Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or 3+ years of B2B sales experience.
  • Must be based in or able to work in the Austin, TX office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Nice to have

  • Experience in SaaS, PaaS, or software sales.
  • Background in the K-12 education market.
  • Experience with NetSuite.
  • Previous experience in an open sales office environment.
