What you will do

• Lead technical design, construction, and commissioning deliverables for BESS projects in collaboration with EPC firms.
• Manage supplier and contractor relationships across multiple equipment vendors.
• Partner with internal teams to negotiate and execute interconnection agreements for grid integration.
• Prepare and issue RFQ/RFP packages, project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Travel to project sites (up to 30%) to oversee construction and commissioning activities.
• Provide technical input for permitting and regulatory applications.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Engineering focus preferred).
• 5-7+ years of experience in project engineering, procurement, and construction management within the power/utility industry.
• Experience with high-voltage utility substations, switchyards, and transmission systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revu Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to travel intermittently up to 30% of the year.
