What you will do

• Perform basic construction, installation, and preventative maintenance on video, voice, and data facilities.
• Assist senior technicians with troubleshooting, outage response, and network signal quality assessments.
• Operate heavy machinery and hand tools for underground and aerial cable projects.
• Maintain accurate documentation for work orders, repairs, and inventory.
• Collaborate with dispatch and support teams to resolve customer service tickets efficiently.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to strict construction and operational standards.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of six months of experience in a telecommunications or related technical field.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Anchorage, Alaska.
• Ability to work in extreme cold weather and perform physical tasks at heights up to 40 feet.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to obtain necessary certifications including CDL, pole climbing, and flagger certification.
