What you will do

• Perform physical installation of displays, projectors, loudspeakers, and equipment racks.
• Execute cabling terminations and conduct testing for various wire and connector types.
• Read and interpret functional design drawings, cable riser diagrams, and architectural plans.
• Build and wire custom designs based on engineering specifications.
• Provide daily feedback to project managers and site superintendents regarding progress.
• Maintain an organized work environment and manage personal toolkit and material inventories.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Rochester, NY
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an associate technician or related industry experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet corporate insurance requirements.
• Proficiency with power tools and basic carpentry skills.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 40 pounds and work in construction site conditions.

Nice to have

• AVIXA CTS Certification.
• OSHA 30 Certificate.
• Experience with fiber optic cable handling and termination.
