What you will do

• Architect and scale robust AI systems in collaboration with the Founding AI Engineer.
• Design sophisticated context engineering systems to manage memory, state, and performance.
• Implement a multi-layered evaluation platform using offline test suites and AI-driven scoring.
• Develop production-ready features using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Enforce strict security, privacy, and compliance guardrails for sensitive client data.
• Set standards for AI-native development and automated testing across the engineering team.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Proven track record of taking AI features from prototype to production at scale.
• Deep expertise in context engineering, AI orchestration, and managing state at scale.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience building in regulated environments where high accuracy is critical.
• Ability to thrive in an early-stage startup environment with shifting priorities.

• Familiarity with observability tooling for AI systems.
