TL;DR

Principal AI Native Software Engineer (AI): Orchestrating AI coding agents to build end-to-end applications and workflow automations for a global financial services platform with an accent on AI agent orchestration and full-stack delivery. Location: Must be based in Seattle, WA (In-office expectation of at least 50% of the time monthly)

What you will do

  • Build complete applications, workflow automations, and basic agents using AI coding agents.
  • Translate customer requirements into technical specifications and manage the process from requirements through deployment.
  • Instrument solutions to track usage and outcomes, iterating based on data-driven insights.
  • Evaluate AI-generated output against company standards for security, privacy, reliability, and quality.
  • Collaborate directly with customers to identify acute problems and automation opportunities.
  • Document effective prompts, patterns, and approaches for the engineering team.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with AI coding agents for end-to-end application development.
  • Expertise in writing and iterating effective prompts to achieve desired technical outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of full-stack architecture, including frontend, backend, data, and infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of common architectural patterns, such as APIs, databases, and queues.
  • Ability to interpret usage metrics, conversion rates, and error rates.
  • Must be able to work from the Seattle office at least 50% of the time monthly.
