What you will do

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical fixtures, apparatus, and equipment wiring.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot systematic faults in electrical systems and PLC-controlled machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
• Plan installations based on blueprints, sketches, and technical specifications.
• Document maintenance activities and repairs within SAP.
• Collaborate with controls engineers, technicians, and production staff to minimize downtime.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician Certificate or 442A Industrial Electrician Certificate.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience, preferably in automotive or plastic injection molding.
• Proficiency with Siemens PLCs and Rockwell automation systems.
• Ability to work a 3-shift rotation, including weekends and holidays as required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
• Strong background in troubleshooting computer-controlled equipment.
