TL;DR

Sales Development Representative (SaaS): Managing and growing qualified lead volume for the SMB team with an accent on outbound prospecting and inbound inquiry qualification. Focus on building a robust sales pipeline, conducting effective outreach via email, social, and phone, and collaborating with cross-functional sales stakeholders to drive revenue.

Location: Must be based in the US; role requires 2x onsite per week in Chicago, IL.

Salary: Up to $62,500 base compensation.

What you will do

  • Qualify inbound inquiries to assess sales readiness before connecting prospects with sales resources.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social media to identify and engage decision-makers.
  • Support marketing-sponsored events through pre-event promotion and post-event follow-up.
  • Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly activity cadence plans for efficient prospecting.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and adhere to defined lead management processes and SLAs.
  • Build strong relationships with aligned sales team members to nurture leads through the pipeline.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the US at the time of application.
  • 4-year college degree.
  • 1-3 years of SaaS sales development experience, including cold outreach and lead qualification.
  • Professional experience in a customer-focused, performance-driven, high-growth sales or marketing team.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce or MS Dynamics 365.
  • Strong interpersonal, research, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience or interest in the CPG industry.
  • Familiarity with Salesloft or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
