Corporate Counsel (AI/SaaS)

Location: Seattle, WA, United States; hybrid with 3 days in-office at the Seattle HQ and 2 days remote

Salary: $150,000–$185,000 annually plus meaningful equity

What you will do

• Review and negotiate customer MSAs, order forms, NDAs, vendor contracts, and other inbound commercial agreements.
• Partner with Sales, RevOps, Finance, and Product on deal structures, commercial decisions, and risk tradeoffs.
• Advise on Data Processing Agreements, security exhibits, and privacy-related contractual obligations.
• Build and maintain agreement templates, negotiation playbooks, and fallback positions.
• Scope and manage outside counsel engagements while keeping work defined and costs controlled.
• Establish contract intake, tracking, and storage processes to improve legal workflow visibility.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and a license to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5–7 years of legal experience, including commercial contracts in a SaaS or technology company environment.
• Experience independently handling initial rounds of commercial negotiations and standard SaaS terms.
• Hands-on experience with Data Processing Agreements and working knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable privacy frameworks.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, communication, organization, prioritization, and task-management skills.
• Ability to work in a lean, fast-paced environment and build structure from the ground up.
