IT Recruiter (AI)

Location: United States; fully remote with occasional onsite work in Fairfax, VA. Candidates should be local to the DC/DMV area.

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 annually.

What you will do

• Build and maintain relationships with project managers, program directors, and vice presidents from requisition intake through hiring.
• Review requisitions, publish and market career opportunities, and source candidates through job boards, social media, and AI tools.
• Coordinate interviews, validate skills and clearances, negotiate contingent and firm offers, and track activity in the ATS.
• Develop candidate pipelines, maintain engagement with hard-to-find talent, and ensure applications are dispositioned within 24 hours.
• Support talent and management meetings, proposal staffing, and virtual or onsite hiring events.

Requirements

• 5+ years of staffing or recruiting experience; a bachelor's degree with 5–8 years of experience or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with iCIMS is required.
• Hands-on experience with at least one job board, such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Dice, or ClearanceJobs.
• Experience supporting both cleared and uncleared programs and high-volume hiring in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain Public Trust or an active security clearance when required.

Nice to have

• Federal civilian agency recruiting experience.
• Hands-on experience or knowledge of Microsoft Copilot.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of EEOC policies.
