Recruiter (AI Recruiting)

Location: New York, NY; hybrid role based in the New York City office. Candidates must be based in the New York City area or willing to relocate.

What you will do

• Run full-cycle recruiting across Product, Customer Experience, Credit and Underwriting, Banking Operations, Compliance, Marketing, and Go-to-Market.
• Partner with hiring managers on job descriptions, scorecards, interview loops, offers, negotiations, and closing.
• Operate and improve AI-based sourcing, screening, scheduling, and candidate-communication agents.
• Review AI-generated shortlists, refine prompts and screening criteria, and identify where human intervention is needed.
• Maintain accurate ATS stages, structured feedback, and reliable recruiting data in Ashby.
• Track funnel metrics such as time-to-fill, pass-through rates, source quality, offer acceptance, and candidate NPS, then turn insights into process improvements.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including meaningful experience in a fintech, bank, or high-growth startup.
• Experience hiring across business functions, including product, customer support or operations, credit or risk, and at least one regulated banking or financial-services role.
• Hands-on experience with AI-based recruiting tools and the ability to configure screening criteria, prompts, automations, and workflows.
• Fluency with a modern ATS such as Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever, or a similar platform, with disciplined data hygiene.
• Strong written and verbal communication, candidate-quality judgment, and the ability to coach hiring managers and interviewers.
• Working knowledge of US employment law for hiring, including rules around automated decision tools; familiarity with Canadian hiring norms is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience hiring for credit, underwriting, banking operations, or compliance roles at a bank or fintech.
• Experience recruiting in both the US and Canada.
• Experience building recruiting workflows with Zapier, Make, or an LLM API.
• Employer branding, recruitment marketing, or structured interviewing training experience.
