Training Partner (Insurance)

Location: Rosemont, Illinois, United States; travel required 25–35% as needed.

Salary: $97,520–$134,090 annually, with a 25% incentive.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deliver learning experiences focused on communication, influence, relationship-based sales, negotiation, presentation, collaboration, coaching, and professional effectiveness.
• Create development programs for early-career employees, underwriters, and other insurance professionals across different roles and experience levels.
• Partner with business leaders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to identify capability gaps and align learning with business priorities.
• Translate product, underwriting, workflow, and compliance content into practical, learner-centered programs and materials.
• Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual sessions, provide coaching and feedback, and reinforce behavior change.
• Measure learning effectiveness through assessments, learner performance, behavior change, and business impact, refining programs based on insights.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in learning and development, facilitation, coaching, instructional design, or training, with a strong focus on soft-skills development.
• Experience in E&S insurance, including surplus lines, underwriting, coverages, market practices, and related workflows.
• Experience training underwriters, brokers, operations teams, or other insurance professionals in wholesale, specialty, programs, or E&S environments.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, interpersonal communication, stakeholder management, organization, and project execution skills.
• Ability to use and develop AI capabilities for innovative training and coaching experiences.
• US work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, education, human resources, organizational development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Professional certifications in learning and development, coaching, leadership development, or insurance.
