TL;DR
Instructional Designer (Associate): Designing and developing comprehensive training programs and educational content for the Annuities Platform team with an accent on adult learning methodologies and technical content creation. Focus on collaborating with subject matter experts to build engaging learning activities, managing course artifacts, and evaluating training effectiveness to drive organizational goals.
Location: Must be based in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role is hybrid (in-office Monday-Thursday, remote Friday).
Salary: $60,000–$80,000

What you will do
- Create engaging learning activities and course content tailored to adult learners.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify and define training needs.
- Develop eLearnings, supporting media, and assessment methods to measure effectiveness.
- Manage the artifact repository and administer training materials in SharePoint and LMS.
- Visualize instructional graphics and user interfaces for training products.
- Analyze industry trends to apply best practices in learning technologies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in instructional design or a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, or a relevant field.
- Proficiency with eLearning software including Adobe Captivate, Canva, and Camtasia.
- Strong ability to write effective instructional copy, scripts, and technical content.
- In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
- Must be able to work in the office in Salt Lake City, Utah, Monday through Thursday.
