What you will do

• Design assessment blueprints and develop items across the full complexity spectrum.
• Perform item and test analyses, calibration, and reliability/validity checks to drive continuous improvement.
• Define assessment content standards and ensure alignment with curriculum and learning objectives.
• Lead collaboration with SMEs and vendors to execute SOWs and manage multiple projects.
• Author and maintain documentation for assessment design, development, and quality monitoring processes.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA.
• Bachelor's degree in psychometrics, educational/psychological measurement, instructional design, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience designing and developing high-integrity assessments.
• Deep understanding of assessment types, taxonomy, and principles of validity and reliability.
• Proficiency with learning management systems, authoring tools, and item banks.
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision making.

Nice to have

• Master's degree or 3–5 years of specialized experience in measurement.
• Experience with technical IT content or certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Python).
• Background in data analysis using R, SPSS, or advanced Excel.
• Knowledge of accessibility and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) standards.
• Experience with adaptive testing or automated assessment tools.
