Location: Must be based in or able to work from New York City (Hybrid)

Salary: $156,364–$250,909/year (OTE: $172,000–$276,000/year)

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain internal IaaS services and automation frameworks to scale operations.
  • Design and operate internal software frameworks for large-scale asynchronous background processing.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve infrastructure reliability and deployment speed.
  • Manage incidents via PagerDuty rotation and perform post-incident retrospectives to drive system improvements.
  • Provide opinionated abstractions and tooling to allow application teams to manage distributed systems safely.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
  • Experience in building or automating Kubernetes-based operators and custom resources.
  • Strong understanding of systems architecture, including interfaces, failure modes, and edge cases.
  • Proven experience with large-scale API-driven systems and application observability.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and document technical work thoroughly.
