Cloud Platform Engineer III (Azure)

Location: Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week at the St. Louis Corporate Office in Saint Louis, Missouri, USA

Salary: $101,500–$131,000 annual base salary, plus potential holiday bonus and incentive awards

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain self-service platform capabilities that improve application delivery, observability, and operational workflows.
• Build scalable CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, deployment automation, provisioning, configuration management, secrets management, and runtime orchestration.
• Develop observability solutions for logs, metrics, and traces using Azure Monitor, OpenTelemetry, and Datadog.
• Embed secure-by-default practices and DevSecOps principles into platform tooling and delivery pipelines.
• Collaborate with application development, cloud, data, cybersecurity, and product teams; mentor team members and promote shared ownership.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, blameless post-mortems, escalation support, and a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Current authorization to work in the United States without requiring company-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.
• Ability to work at least 3 days per week from the St. Louis corporate office and comply with the Work From Home policy.
• At least 6 years of experience in information systems or a related technical field.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Terraform, GitHub, ARM templates, Ansible, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes on Azure.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure identity, networking, compute, PaaS, cloud security, observability, and hybrid environments.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts, lead and mentor cross-functional teams, and participate in 24/7 on-call support.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications in cloud, DevOps, or security.
• Experience with SRE-inspired reliability practices, incident response, root cause analysis, and blameless post-mortems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
