What you will do

• Support and enhance infrastructure used by development teams to operate services.
• Lead technical decision-making and promote user-centric solutions.
• Create Claude skills and design agentic workflows to boost developer productivity.
• Guide team members on engineering standards emphasizing usability and maintainability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver cohesive platform features.
• Write proposals and decision briefs for new policies and platform functionalities.
• Develop new platform features with meaningful value propositions.
• Resolve urgent and unclear tasks independently.

Requirements

• Must be located in Canada (remote).
• 5+ years software engineering experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or DevOps.
• Proven technical leadership experience.
• Expertise with tools like ArgoCD, Grafana, Kubernetes, GitHub, Terraform, Helm, Backstage, and Cloud Cost Optimization.
• Proficient in Python, JavaScript, or Go.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies, preferably GCP or AWS.
• Excellent communication aligning technology with user and organizational goals.

• Experience with distributed systems architecture and design.
• Knowledge of cloud security and governance principles.
• Experience designing agentic workflows.
• Database expertise.
• Experience building Internal Developer Platforms.
