Sr. Manager Materials Planning

TL;DR

Sr. Manager Materials Planning (Supply Chain/MRP): Own raw material availability by directing manufacturing, production, and inventory plans, leading the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process, and coordinating material availability with Operations, Finance, Quality, and commercialization. Focus on demand forecasting accuracy, end-to-end supply chain oversight for raw materials and packaging, and driving operational excellence through KPIs (OTIF/quality), cost savings, and new product launch planning.

Salary: $130,000-$145,000 base salary plus bonus

What you will do

• Direct short- and long-term manufacturing, production, and supply/inventory plans aligned with business requirements.
• Oversee raw material demand forecasting to support procurement and inventory optimization, including digital transformation and forecast accuracy.
• Lead end-to-end supply chain management for raw materials and packaging, addressing production, quality, warehousing, and transportation issues.
• Continuously lead and optimize the MRP process, incorporating production needs, obsolescence risks, and cost-savings opportunities.
• Run operational excellence routines (monthly performance reviews, KPI monitoring like OTIF and quality) and drive improvements and cost savings.
• Lead a Planning and Logistics team of four, and coordinate cross-functionally to support core product production and new product launches.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing planning, ideally in FMCG or food processing.
• Proven leadership experience with strong communication and problem-solving skills to manage complex supply chain disruptions.
• Experience implementing AI and automation tools; strong project/change management skills.
• Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and work across departments.
• May require significant travel (up to 50%).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize, build timelines, and execute plans under deadlines.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma/Lean experience (preferred).
• Familiarity with beverage systems and industry beverage planning context.
• Experience with Google platforms and Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
