Location: Must be based in New York, NY (Hybrid: 4 days per week in-office required)

Salary: $105,000 - $145,000

What you will do

• Collaborate with product owners to define acceptance criteria and technical specifications.
• Design and implement automated test frameworks for backend, API, and video playback systems.
• Perform root cause analysis on defects and maintain comprehensive test coverage.
• Work with engineering teams to integrate quality practices throughout the SDLC.
• Utilize debugging tools to troubleshoot issues across web, mobile, and OTT platforms.
• Improve operational efficiency through proactive tech stack enhancements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering in a related industry.
• 2+ years of experience in test automation at a coding level.
• Proficiency in programming languages, Java preferred, and BDD testing with Cucumber JVM.
• Strong knowledge of API testing tools and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with video streaming ecosystems, including encoding, packaging, and codecs.
• Must be able to work from the New York office 4 days per week.
