What you will do

• Design and maintain automated test frameworks and backend test suites using Java.
• Write high-quality JUnit tests for RESTful APIs and service layers.
• Validate API schemas, request/response structures, and error-handling scenarios.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure testability and observability in new feature designs.
• Analyze logs and metrics to diagnose and troubleshoot service failures.
• Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines through automation and quality gates.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US
• 3+ years of experience in software QE, test automation, or development.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming (OOP, collections, generics, lambdas).
• Hands-on experience with JUnit and RESTful API testing.
• Solid understanding of API schema validation and microservice architectures.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

Nice to have

• Experience with gRPC service testing.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot and cloud environments (AWS).
• Knowledge of log analysis tools like Splunk.
• Exposure to Python, Node.js, or frontend technologies.
