What you will do

• Guide teams on Scrum and the Agile Manifesto by facilitating core ceremonies in a hands-off, coaching style.
• Foster the development of self-managing teams, creating a safe environment for iterative improvement and self-sufficiency.
• Partner with Product Owners to coach them on agile boundaries, backlog ordering, and value maximization.
• Own and analyze agile metrics to surface insights for continuous improvement and protect team flow.
• Manage stakeholders under executive scrutiny, operating effectively within defined escalation pathways.
• Mentor other Scrum Masters across the organization to drive sustained agile maturity.

Requirements

• Must be based in Costa Rica (per local law benefits and location requirements).
• Strong command of the Scrum Guide and Agile Manifesto, operating at an agile-coach level.
• Experience as a dedicated, pure-play Scrum Master (non-hybrid roles only).
• Proven track record of coaching and facilitating teams without formal authority.
• In-depth knowledge of agile metrics and the ability to use data to drive performance.
• Fluency in scaling options (e.g., scrum-of-scrums) and their appropriate application.

• Experience designing and running workshops, mindset exercises, and games.
• High emotional intelligence to read team health through behavior and interaction.
• Demonstrable track record of moving teams from "cost-centre" to mission-driven mindsets.
