What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of full-stack engineers, owning the end-to-end development process from design to production.
• Guide the design and implementation of scalable backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and NestJS.
• Oversee the development of modern frontend applications using Angular to ensure consistent UX performance.
• Drive architectural decisions, technical roadmaps, and best practices in system design and code quality.
• Partner with Product and DevOps teams to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
• Manage team-level processes including 1:1s, feedback, hiring, and onboarding.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise web applications and distributed systems.
• 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams in a team lead or tech lead capacity.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and experience with relational databases.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable web system architectures.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across teams.
• Strong ownership mindset with a balance of hands-on technical work and leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience with Node.js (TypeScript, NestJS).
• Experience with modern UI frameworks like Angular, Vue, or React.
• Knowledge of non-relational databases (Redis, Elasticsearch, MongoDB).
• Experience with Vertica.
