Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 per year, plus equity

hirify.global builds an AI operating system for revenue that helps finance and accounting teams manage revenue workflows with accounting logic, automation, controls, auditability, and human oversight.

What you will do

• Own customer projects end to end, from scoping through launch.
• Clarify requirements, define scope, and drive execution across stakeholders.
• Build customer-specific workflows and internal tools with Python, React, hirify.global APIs, and internal systems.
• Combine APIs, flexible workflows, and lightweight tooling to create practical customer solutions.
• Investigate customer environments and resolve customer-impacting issues with implementation, customer success, product, and engineering.
• Communicate priorities, timelines, risks, and customer impact while unblocking delivery.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience and strong working knowledge of Python for production workflows and internal tools.
• Strong systems thinking across data flows, integrations, edge cases, and failure modes.
• Experience working with APIs, data, and operational tooling to deliver customer-facing functionality.
• Ability to scope and deliver projects end to end in ambiguous environments.
• Strong cross-functional communication and experience in client-facing contexts.
• Ability to work on-site in New York City, NY.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SQL, GitHub, and software development practices.
• Experience debugging production issues or working in live customer environments.
• Customer-facing technical experience in solutions, implementation, or support.
• Exposure to field or forward-deployed engineering and customer-stack investigation.
• Experience with CRMs, ERPs, data warehouses, spreadsheets, finance, accounting, or B2B operations workflows.
