Forward Deployed AI Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Remote - United States or Canada

Salary: US estimated base salary $160K–$210K; Canada estimated base salary CA$180K–CA$210K. Equity is offered.

What you will do

• Embed with clients to gather requirements and translate ambiguous fraud, compliance, and workflow challenges into technical architectures.
• Architect, train, and deploy custom AI agents and intelligent workflows in production.
• Apply prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and evaluation frameworks to improve agent accuracy, safety, and reliability.
• Establish AI risk metrics, datasets, and evaluation pipelines to measure the causal impact of deployed agents.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to scale custom models and optimize production integrations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data science or applied AI.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, pipeline building, and model integration.
• Ability to translate ambiguous client challenges into concrete requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Strong critical thinking, autonomy, ownership, and focus on measurable business value.
• Must be located in the United States or Canada.
