What you will do

• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes ensuring accuracy according to U.S. GAAP.
• Lead global operating expense accounting, including accruals, prepaids, allocations, and intercompany charges.
• Perform complex account reconciliations across domestic and international operations to identify process gaps and control weaknesses.
• Partner with FP&A and business leaders to analyze spending trends and validate forecast-to-actual variances.
• Design and implement AI-enabled accounting workflows, bots, and agents to reduce manual effort and increase scalability.
• Maintain SOX controls and serve as a primary liaison for internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in multinational or public accounting environments.
• Expertise in U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and SOX compliance.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Hands-on experience applying AI tools, workflow automation platforms, or data tools to finance processes.
• Proficiency with large ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) and data visualization tools like Power BI.
