Location: Must be based in Seattle, WA. This role requires access to ITAR-controlled information, therefore candidates must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, or protected individual).

Salary: $190,000 - $230,000 + equity

What you will do

• Develop reliable software solutions spanning from factory floors to mission control.
• Lead software architecture design, deployment strategies, and coding standards.
• Partner with cross-functional engineering and business leaders to design efficient solutions.
• Own full-lifecycle product development from initial concept to production.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline or 15+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 10+ years of experience in full stack, platform, or API development.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• 5+ years of experience with CI/CD tools and structured databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.).
• Expertise in at least one static typed language (C#, Go, Java, C++, or TypeScript).
• In-depth experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

Nice to have

• Experience with frontend frameworks like React or Next.js.
• Familiarity with data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with testing tools like Cucumber or Cypress.
• Knowledge of build systems and package management tools.
