Senior Full Stack Engineer (TypeScript)

Location: Remote within the United States. Working hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm ET. Travel for onsite interviews may be required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Salary: $150,000–$180,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services with TypeScript and Node.js using Nest.js.
• Build responsive, modular, and high-performance front-end applications with React.
• Architect and optimize RESTful APIs, data models, authentication, and authorization.
• Build and deploy applications on AWS using ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, and IAM.
• Contribute to system architecture, application security, performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver features from requirements through production, including testing and code reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and server-side TypeScript frameworks.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, ORM libraries, REST API design, and security principles.
• Practical AWS experience with services such as ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, and IAM.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Vitest, plus knowledge of microservices or serverless architecture.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship and able to work 8:00am–4:30pm ET.

Nice to have

• Python experience.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
