TL;DR

Senior Sales Engineer: Providing technical and subject matter expertise to the Global Sales Team to win new hirify.global business with retail and brand clients, with an accent on leading complex discovery engagements and building executive-level business cases. Focus on translating technical capabilities into business impact narratives, driving multi-stakeholder deals, and delivering value-led responses to RFIs/RFPs.

Location: Western United States (Remote). Must be located in Pacific or Mountain US time zones.

Salary: $110,000-$150,000 per year (base pay). Expected sales incentive range: $42,429-$70,714.

What you will do

  • Drive new revenue by partnering with sales and client management teams on new and existing accounts.
  • Lead solutions discovery for technical, functional, and overall value proposition of retailer and brand solutions.
  • Deliver sales presentations, proofs-of-concept, product demonstrations, and strategic recommendations in person and via screen-share meetings.
  • Evaluate client business goals and data/system integration requirements, then recommend strategies to meet those needs.
  • Build and present ROI analyses and business cases for economic buyers and C-suite stakeholders, including risk reduction and margin improvement.
  • Respond to RFIs/RFPs and synthesize client/competitive/industry feedback to improve product and service delivery.

Requirements

  • Location/Time zone: Must be located in Pacific or Mountain US time zones.
  • 3+ years of presales consultative experience OR direct ownership of an ecommerce program generating $10M+ in GMV, including hands-on channel management or marketplace integration platform work.
  • Hands-on experience supporting teams closing six-figure contracts against seven-figure targets.
  • Experience applying a formal value-selling framework (e.g., MEDDICC or equivalent) in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles; able to build and defend executive/finance-level business cases.
  • Knowledge of retail partner ecosystem, including marketplaces, and common retail/e-commerce client challenges.
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude) to accelerate work such as drafting, data analysis, prompt engineering, and/or documentation.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Technical working knowledge of API integrations (REST & Webhooks).
  • Experience with online retail or brand-focused solutions.
  • Familiarity with enterprise back-end system solutions, configurations, and core requirements.
  • Executive presence to lead conversations with C-suite and Finance stakeholders.
