What you will do

• Maintain high-quality proprietary terminology products and mappings between medical code sets.
• Lead special projects and contribute to new product and content development.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and UX/UI teams to refine processes and technology.
• Train and mentor team members on terminology projects and domain expertise.
• Utilize AI tools to improve delivery efficiency and data quality.
• Estimate project resources and timelines while ensuring strong data governance.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA.
• 7+ years of experience working with medical terminology (e.g., HCPCS, SNOMED).
• 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining healthcare terminology products.
• Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and basic database knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently under deadlines.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• Clinical background (nursing, medical, laboratory, pharmacy).
• Professional certifications such as CPC, CCS, or RHIT/RHIA.
• Experience with Health Language data models.
• Familiarity with AI tools for terminology delivery.
