Strategy and Business Development Associate (Generative AI)

Location: New York, United States

Annual base salary: $135,000–$175,000 for applicants with undergraduate or master’s degrees; $150,000–$200,000 for applicants with JDs, MBAs, or PhDs. Year-end bonus compensation is also provided.

What you will do

• Evaluate complex business questions and lead ambitious, collaborative projects that support the firm’s long-term direction and growth.
• Conduct rigorous quantitative and qualitative research and analysis.
• Design and implement commercial initiatives and help shape communications with external partners and stakeholder audiences.
• Identify new opportunities, support the launch of businesses and funds, and contribute to capital-raising and retention initiatives.
• Analyze portfolios, assess risk, and develop recommendations that improve operations and drive innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and one to five years of experience with a demonstrated record of academic and professional achievement.
• Strong written and verbal communication, critical thinking, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, learn quickly, and take on new challenges.
• Demonstrated practical use of generative AI to improve and reimagine workflows and deliverables.
• Backgrounds in finance, law, technology, consulting, or other industries are considered; previous finance experience is not required.
