SME DevSecOps Architect / Engineer (MBSE)

Location: Kearneysville, West Virginia, United States; hybrid

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and manage secure CI/CD and automated provisioning pipelines.
• Construct and maintain MBSE domain architectures, integrated digital models, and technical baselines.
• Integrate Zero Trust principles and cybersecurity controls into platform and domain architectures.
• Establish technical and interoperability standards aligned with PEO C5I strategies and policies.
• Provide architectural guidance and reference models to development, integration, and product teams.
• Document service capabilities, dependencies, automated workflows, and evolving technology recommendations across multiple domains.

Requirements

• High school education with 12+ years of experience or commensurate experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ CE, CySA+, or CCNA Security.
• Experience building and maintaining secure DevSecOps pipelines and automated software delivery frameworks.
• Experience creating MBSE architectures, integrated digital models, or enterprise architecture blueprints.
• Operational understanding of Zero Trust Architecture and cybersecurity controls.
• Active Secret clearance required; experience with infrastructure automation, configuration management, cloud architecture, virtualization, software engineering, and network boundaries.

Nice to have

• Experience with U.S. Coast Guard, Software Yard, or Department of Homeland Security programs.
• DevSecOps, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, or INCOSE ASEP/CSEP certification.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, automated vulnerability scanning, cloud-native architectures, software-defined infrastructure, and secure hybrid-cloud environments.
