Salary: $112,710 – $183,140

What you will do

• Collaborate with wireless OEMs to evaluate systems for autonomy and remote-control applications.
• Partner with commercial teams and customers to determine optimal wireless strategies for mining and quarry operations.
• Develop detailed technical specifications and documentation for connectivity solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate potential solutions and their impact on existing systems.
• Participate in design reviews, testing, and validation processes to ensure compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex connectivity issues across hardware and software systems.

Requirements

• 8+ years of engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of wireless networks, RF planning, and cellular/Wi-Fi standards.
• Experience with IP routing and switching.
• Proficiency in Linux/Ubuntu environments.
• Must be able to work onsite five days a week in Mossville, IL.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cat Command products.
• Knowledge of Cat machine on-board systems.
• Experience with Cisco outdoor wireless configuration and support.
