What you will do

• Design embedded software in C on Linux to configure ASICs and hardware components
• Implement software for hardware resource management and data path requirements in transport/switching apps
• Collaborate with local/remote teams on planning, estimation, and tracking development
• Contribute across full product lifecycle: definition, design, implementation, testing
• Review requirements and use cases to inform software design
• Prototype/evaluate solutions on hardware and deliver specs/documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• 2+ years embedded software development in networking/telecom, using C/C++
• BSP development, security features, board bring-up
• Linux kernel/user space drivers development
• Embedded concepts: Linux OS, synchronization, interrupts, IPC
• Datacom/telecom background: DWDM, OTN, Ethernet, TCP/IP
• Debugging with GDB/Valgrind; verbal/technical writing skills

Nice to have

• Embedded systems with microservice architecture on RTOS
• CPU architectures, hardware specs/timing diagrams
• Linux dev environment; CLI/TL1/SNMP/NETCONF/REST/gRPC
