Salary: $105,000 - $160,000

What you will do

• Implement and optimize computer vision and perception algorithms using C++ for low-SWaP embedded processors.
• Configure build systems using CMake and ensure software meets rigorous performance and quality standards.
• Support testing, evaluation, and operationally relevant field experimentation of integrated systems.
• Develop technical documentation, software design reports, and contribute to process improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and reuse software components across various programs.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers while operating under moderate supervision.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required due to government contract and ITAR compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or Physics.
• 5-8 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and modern build systems like CMake.
• Experience with Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS), Python scripting, and unit testing/debugging.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with DDS, gRPC, and Rust.
• Familiarity with Machine Learning and Computer Vision concepts.
• Active DoD security clearance.
• FAA Part 107 certification for small UAS operation.
