Project Manager - Tissue Converting (Industrial Machinery)

Location: Lucca, Italy; availability to travel 60–100 days per year.

Salary: €40,000–€45,000 per year.

What you will do

• Coordinate projects, resources, and tasks from order intake through final commissioning.
• Track milestones, scope, quality, safety, delivery timelines, profitability, and project changes.
• Identify risks, manage issues, define mitigation actions, and escalate when required.
• Coordinate engineering, production, technicians, customers, Sales, and international project partners.
• Manage customer factory acceptance tests, project updates, punch lists, and closure of open points.
• Lead design reviews, site coordination, documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement of project processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Business or an equivalent qualification.
• 2–5 years of project management experience.
• Experience in industrial environments; paper or tissue industry experience is advantageous.
• Business-fluent English at minimum B2 level.
• Availability to travel 60–100 days per year.
• Strong coordination, leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• MS Project knowledge.
• Agile or Scrum certification.
