Machinist III - 3rd Shift (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, NY, United States

Salary: $32.00–$37.00 per hour, plus a 10% third-shift differential. A $3,500 sign-on bonus may be available under the stated application-date and bonus-agreement conditions.

What you will do

• Set up and run CNC lathes with milling capabilities to produce complex, high-precision components.
• Machine parts to close tolerances, fine finishes, and complex geometries.
• Inspect completed work, set up and adjust gauging equipment, and identify unusual conditions or defective parts.
• Interpret complex drawings, GD&T blueprints, sketches, and operation sheets.
• Work with minimal supervision while helping plan work and solve problems within the machining cell.

Requirements

• At least four years of CNC machinist experience, preferably with lathes and mills.
• Working knowledge of G-Code.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer-based work instructions or training in English.
• Ability to perform basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Work onsite in Buffalo, NY, with access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Fanuc controls.
• Knowledge of B-axis mill-turn machines with main and sub-spindles.
