What you will do

• Own the design direction and UX/UI pattern system across Apps Meta, Retention, and Design Systems to ensure a coherent experience.
• Set and maintain high quality standards for all mobile app design output across multiple teams.
• Lead native craft for iOS and Android, addressing resizability, foldables, and evolving platform standards like Material 3 Expressive.
• Design the integration of AI features into mobile apps, focusing on native UI and navigation.
• Collaborate with Product Directors and PMs to influence the roadmap and prioritization through design rationale.
• Drive brand differentiation for portfolio brands like momondo to ensure local market dominance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product design experience with a portfolio of high-impact mobile work at consumer scale.
• Deep expertise in Apple HIG and Material Design, including experience with iPad and foldables.
• Proven track record of raising design quality across a discipline through standards, critiques, and scalable systems.
• Experience driving design direction across multiple teams and influencing without direct authority.
• Proficiency in Figma and AI-assisted design/prototyping tools (e.g., Claude Code or Cursor).
• Ability to use data and research to inform design direction and measure outcomes.

Nice to have

• Previous experience managing or leading other designers.
• Ability to tie design vision directly to measurable business outcomes.
• Formal education in design (BA, BFA, MFA) or equivalent practical experience.
