What you will do

• Lead large, complex, or ambiguous design initiatives, owning the long-term UX vision and success criteria.
• Reframe problems and anticipate downstream risks to bring clarity to evolving product directions.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leads to define strategic bets and prioritize roadmap decisions.
• Prototype and test interaction models to validate concepts and accelerate development.
• Drive alignment across cross-functional teams and stakeholders through clear, empathetic communication.
• Mentor senior designers and contribute to the evolution of design team culture and hiring practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in Europe or able to work from specified hubs in London, Copenhagen, Munich, or Zurich.
• Proven track record of leading high-impact design work in ambiguous, cross-functional environments.
• Recognized excellence in at least one design discipline with a history of elevating team standards.
• Strong systems thinking skills, understanding how product architecture and AI capabilities shape UX.
• Ability to align diverse stakeholders and communicate complex ideas with confidence and empathy.
• Experience mentoring senior designers and contributing to team practice-building.
