Strategic Account Executive (Life Sciences): Driving adoption of frontier AI platforms within leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and research organizations with an accent on enterprise-scale deal closure and C-level relationship management. Focus on embedding AI into R&D, clinical development, and commercial workflows to unlock new capabilities in highly regulated industries.
Location: Hybrid (San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY); staff are expected in the office at least 25% of the time.
Salary: $380,000 - $450,000 USD (OTE)

What you will do
- Own and grow a book of strategic, high-value accounts across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and research organizations.
- Engage with C-level and senior technical stakeholders to build business cases and navigate complex procurement and regulatory reviews.
- Develop and execute account plans to convert strategic relationships into predictable committed revenue.
- Partner with Applied AI and Product teams to translate life sciences-specific needs into product roadmap inputs.
- Codify winning use cases and reference stories to scale the life sciences market motion.
- Orchestrate cross-functional efforts with Customer Success, Legal, and cloud partners to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of enterprise sales experience in life sciences, covering bio, pharma, and research organizations.
- Proven track record of exceeding quotas selling complex technical products such as API-first platforms, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS.
- Experience building C-suite relationships within strategic enterprise accounts in the life sciences sector.
- Must be based in or able to work from San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY.
- Strong operational rigor in managing long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Nice to have
- Experience bringing Generative AI or LLM-based products to large pharma or biotech companies.
- Deep familiarity with GxP compliance, data governance, and regulated-industry procurement.
- Experience selling through cloud partners like AWS and Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with consumption-based commercial models and value-based pricing.
