TL;DR

Enterprise Account Executive (SaaS): Leading the full sales cycle for enterprise accounts in the Northeastern US with an accent on strategic prospecting and tailored solution positioning. Focus on navigating complex sales cycles within data infrastructure and developer tooling to expand the Astro platform's market reach.

Location: Hybrid; must be based in the Northeastern US with 3 days per week in office (Boston or NYC)

Compensation: $260,000 - $300,000 OTE + equity

What you will do

  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to close for enterprise accounts with over 1000 employees.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through strategic outbound and inbound channels.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and craft tailored proposals aligned with customer goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales engineering, and product teams to ensure smooth handoffs and long-term success.
  • Maintain expertise in industry trends and competitive offerings to position Astro as the leading solution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience, ideally in SaaS, data platforms, or cloud solutions.
  • 2+ years of field experience with in-person customer engagement.
  • Proven success running complex enterprise sales cycles in data infrastructure or developer tooling.
  • Consistent history of meeting or exceeding new business quotas in high-growth environments.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and sales enablement platforms.
  • Must be based in the Northeastern US and available for 3 days/week in-office in Boston or NYC.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling specifically to data teams, developers, or technical buyers.
  • Background in data orchestration or Airflow-related technologies.
  • Prior success working within a startup or high-growth environment.
