TL;DR
Senior Emerging and Disruptive (E&D) Technology Analyst (AI): Analyzing future technology and military applications by foreign actors to assess impacts on U.S. nuclear weapons systems and defense infrastructure with an accent on strategic risk and technology forecasting. Focus on producing intelligence for the National Security Threat Capabilities Assessment (NSTCA) and mentoring junior analysts.

Location: Onsite in Washington, D.C. or the greater National Capital Region; applicants must reside in the United States at the time of application.

Salary: $114,110–$171,166 per year

What you will do

  • Assess the discovery, development, and deployment of advanced technologies and their impact on defense critical infrastructure and U.S. nuclear weapons systems.
  • Produce intelligence for the National Security Threat Capabilities Assessment and develop threat and global baseline assessments for the Defense Critical Infrastructure Program.
  • Monitor and forecast technology trends among foreign state and non-state actors, identifying military applications and strategic risks.
  • Apply structured analytic techniques, source validation, and rigorous tradecraft to intelligence products.
  • Prepare written assessments and oral briefings for senior decision-makers while collaborating with collectors, technical experts, and cross-functional colleagues.
  • Mentor junior analysts and support the development of analytic processes and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Current residence in the United States is required.
  • TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • At least 8 years of experience conducting technical intelligence analysis.

Nice to have

  • Current CI polygraph.
  • Master’s degree in intelligence or a STEM discipline, or additional qualifying experience.
  • At least 12 years of technical intelligence analysis experience.
  • Experience creating products for Object Based Intelligence.
  • Experience within the Department of War or the U.S. Intelligence Community.
