Senior Manager, Physical Safety and Security

Location: Pleasanton, United States. Hybrid work; candidates within a reasonable commute to a hirify.global office are expected to work in the office at least 3 days per week.

Salary: $175,000–$219,000 per year, plus eligible short-term and long-term incentive programs and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead global physical security, environmental health and safety, life safety, and crisis management programs.
• Administer and modernize physical access control, video management, visitor management, and emergency notification systems.
• Define security specifications and manage procurement, installation, commissioning, and vendor relationships for office buildouts and expansions.
• Manage contracts and service-level agreements for security guards, integrators, monitoring centers, and EHS consultants.
• Conduct physical security audits, assess risks, and develop mitigation strategies across global locations.
• Lead workplace injury, safety incident, and security breach investigations, including root-cause analysis, corrective actions, OSHA 300 logs, and global incident metrics.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in physical security or related services, including at least 5 years in a corporate security environment.
• Deep knowledge of access control, CCTV, visitor management, and emergency notification systems.
• Familiarity with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA, fire codes, building safety, and international workplace health and safety requirements.
• Experience with injury and illness prevention programs, ergonomic assessments, hazard communication, and indoor environmental quality standards.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills, with the ability to work with employees, vendors, law enforcement, and public safety agencies.
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office, Teams, and AI tools.
