DC Operations & Deployments EHS Safety Manager (AI Infrastructure)

Location: On-site in the US; the posting lists Denver, CO, while the role description states that it is based in the San Francisco office. 50% travel is required.

Salary: $190,000–$225,000 annually plus bonus; restricted stock units are included in all offers.

What you will do

• Provide safety oversight for active deployments and operational data centers, working with internal teams and external contractors.
• Assess worker and operational risks, recommend mitigations, and develop action plans.
• Develop and implement HSE processes, including Right to Know and Hazard Communication programs.
• Monitor federal and state compliance, HSE objectives, metrics, audits, and corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis following failures, incidents, or accidents.
• Deliver HSE training, maintain safety documentation, and liaise with contractors, clients, agencies, and air quality boards.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant HSE experience.
• Technical knowledge and implementation experience with federal and state HSE rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Experience with electrical safety standards, including NFPA 70E and OSHA 30.
• Strong verbal and written communication, documentation, reporting, and HSE management system skills.
• Must be legally able to work and reside in the US without sponsorship.
• Ability to travel 50% of the time.

Nice to have

• HSE experience in data center, cloud infrastructure, or R&D environments.
• CSP, ASP, or OHST certification.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations affecting data center operations.
