Environmental Manager (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Phoenix, Arizona, United States; work is on-site.

Salary: $93,000–$155,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead environmental compliance across air, water, waste, and hazardous materials programs.
• Oversee permitting, regulatory submissions, audits, inspections, and agency interactions.
• Develop and maintain environmental policies, ISO 14001 systems, compliance obligations, emergency preparedness, and internal audits.
• Conduct environmental assessments, identify operational and project risks, and implement corrective actions and mitigation strategies.
• Partner with operations, engineering, logistics, maintenance, consultants, and regulatory agencies; mentor environmental staff.
• Manage the compliance calendar, environmental budget, sampling laboratories, consultants, disposal vendors, reporting, KPIs, and incident systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of environmental experience.
• Experience managing environmental compliance, permitting, audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions.
• Experience with environmental management systems, risk assessment, monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work on-site in Phoenix, Arizona.
