What you will do

• Own the full commercial lifecycle for the Japan book of business, from sourcing and qualifying to negotiating, closing, and long-term expansion.
• Travel to Japan at least once per quarter for in-person relationship building and partner support.
• Represent Runway in Japan's creative and enterprise ecosystem at industry events and partner summits.
• Collaborate with Product and Leadership to translate Japanese market signals into roadmap inputs and GTM strategy.
• Design targeted Runway solutions by analyzing partner creative and operational workflows.
• Onboard new partners to the platform/API and support their technical expansion.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in customer-facing roles for complex global organizations in tech, finance, or consulting.
• Full professional bilingual fluency in Japanese and English.
• Deep familiarity with Japanese enterprise culture, procurement, and relationship dynamics.
• Proven track record of leading complex Generative AI or ML implementations with measurable outcomes.
• Experience owning or contributing to P&L, commercial forecasting, and pipeline management.
• Must be based in the US or London.
